Alejandro Durán Sotuela

My name is Alejandro Durán Sotuela and I have a degree in Biology from the A Coruña University (UDC) and a master degree in Advanced Biotechnology between the Universities of A Coruña and Vigo. Nowadays, I started my PhD degree at the Genomic Unit from the “Instituto de Investigación Biomédica de A Coruña” (INIBIC). My research work is focused on the identification of genetic mitochondrial markers related with fast progression in Knee Osteoarthritis (OA). During the last years I have obtained laboratory experience either in molecular and celular biology. Furthermore, in the following years while performing my PhD I want to improve my skills and knowledge as much as possible.
